Alcudia combines a walled medieval old town, the Roman site of Pollentia and one of the longest beaches in Mallorca. Plots come up in the residential areas around the town, near Alcanada golf course and in the countryside towards the La Victoria peninsula.
A plot lets you build a new home close to the bay, but each one has its own planning conditions, so check them with an architect first.
Confirm whether the land is urban (urbano) or rustic (rústico), ask the town hall for the planning certificate (cédula urbanística) to see how much you can build, and check access, water, electricity and drainage. Allow time for design and licensing before construction starts.
