Several times before we had talk about the relevance of Palma as a great European capital of fashion and shopping. 22 September has been the choosen day to add a new space to this tendence because will officially open FAN Mallorca Shopping Center.

FAN Mallorca Shopping is the new shopping center located in Coll d’en Rebassa as an extensión of Carrefour. More than 66.000 m2 dedicated to shopping, leisure and entertiment that will have more than 120 establishments of leading brands. Moreover, it will have the first 4D cinema of the island. Last week it was known that will be two coveted new spaces in this shopping center: Starbucks and Vips.

In the shopping center have been invested more than 190 million euros, which have allowed, not only to enrich and renew the commercial offer Balearic, but also encourage the creation of 2,400 jobs during the construction process that will be expanded, once the center open its doors, with another 1,500 direct jobs.

With more of 120 of first international, national and local brand establishments FAN Mallorca will offer all the customers a unique experience to become, in short time, in the favourite meeting point for all majorcan people. There will be worldwide relevance fashion brands as Primark, that arrives to Balearics with a shop of more of 7.000 m2, H&M, Mango, C&A, Cortefiel, Sfera, Pedro del Hierro, Women’s secret, Springfield; and operators like Decathlon, Media Markt, Samsung, Artesiete Cines, Starbucks, VIPS, La Tagliatella, Udon, Pandora, Jean Louis David or Dock 39, between others.

In the same way, there will be present in the shopping center the South Korean brand  leader in the market of technology and electronics, Samsung; as well as the famous chain specializing in consoles, accessories and library, Game.

The center also has a cultural project that aims to protect the windmills, traditional Majorcan symbol. To this end, Carrefour Property has opened an exhibition under the title ‘Compartint Valors – Molins de Vent’ that wants to take care of one of the most representative elements of the cultural, architectural and industrial heritage of the island.
