About Port Pollensa

is a town and municipality situated in the far north corner of the island of  Majorca. near Cap de Formentor and Alcúdia. It lies about 6 km (4 mi) west of its port, Port de Pollensa.

About Pollensa and surrounding areas

Puerto Pollensa is a well known family-friendly tourist resort in the north of Mallorca for many years.  Port Pollensa was formerly a fishing village servicing the local area. 

Puerto Pollensa affords splendid sea views and a picture-perfect tramuntana mountain backdrop. It is well protected from strong winds, making it an ideal location for a seaside retreat. As you might imagine from an established resort, the town offers a wide range of mediterranean restaurants, bars and 3 and 4 star hotels. But the surrounding area is scattered with luxury villas for sale starting from 750.000 Euros for a 3 bedroom villa in Gormar up to a 4 Mio Euros villa in Boquer, close to the Pinewalk. 

There’s a chance now to buy villas with ETV holiday rental licence and get a good income of renting the villas out during the holiday season. This year due to Covid-19 the business is lower but in August 2020 the occupation is still at 90% of properties in Port Pollenca.
