Recent studies by the Balearic Islands Port Authority have revealed that cruise tourism generated annually in Balears estimated revenues of 289.66 million euros, a figure that highlights the significant contribution of the ports in the development of the island and in creating economic activity and employment.<\/h2>\n

In Mallorca the average expenditure is higher than in the rest of the islands as a third of the cruises have departure and arrival on the largest island.
